Office Closed Friday, July 3rd
The Holy Trinity office will be closed this Friday, July 3rd in observance of the July 4th holiday.
Christmas in July
On Sunday, July 26th, after worship service Holy Trinity Lutheran Church will be having its Christmas in July event to help prepare for Jubilee Christmas in December. Through community generosity, we set the stage for a family to experience the warmth and togetherness of Christmas morning.
This July, we're getting a jump on spreading holiday cheer - because God inspired generosity doesn't have to wait for December. We can get a head start gathering resources to support our congregation's families, bring people together for a fun summer event with a meaningful purpose, and combine summer fun with holiday giving for twice the celebration.

We are excited to invite our partners in ministry, Lafayette Urban Ministries, to gather with us for an evening of Family Fun, Food, Fellowship and Discussion about opportunities to do mission together. Please look for more information in the upcoming weeks.
Back to School BBQ with Bethany Presbyterian Church
Holy Trinity and Bethany Presbyterian Church are partnering for our Back to School BBQ on July 29th from 5:30 - 7 pm at Bethany Presbyterian. Please bring shoes, backpacks, socks, or haircuts. Volunteers are also needed to assist with the evening's events. Drop off your donations and/or sign up to help in the narthex. If you have questions, email the office or call the office at 765-447-4205.
The Wired Word
Join us on Sundays, at 9 A.M. in the Narthex on the first floor for The Wired Word. This weekly Bible study curriculum connects the Bible to current events, open to everyone, seventh grade and older.
Topic for Sunday, July 5: As World Cup nears completion, Soccer Is Compared to Religion
The FIFA World Cup began on June 11, jointly hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico. An international crowd has gathered in North America for what is, potentially, a unifying experience. The hosting of such a major sporting event leads us to focus this week on how soccer and religion can bind people through shared belief, ritual and identity.
