This past Saturday, January 31st, Pastor Marc participated in a rally against the current oversteps of ICE. He was joined by dozens of other clergy from the Greater Lafayette area in downtown Lafayette in a "shared commitment to justice, peace, human dignity, and the common good."
To read more about this rally, see the Journal and Courier article or the Substack article written by Dave Bangert.Â

We will continue the season of Lent with 12:15 pm midweek worship services here at HTLC which will be live-streamed and recorded for later access via our website and Facebook page. We will be looking at the book of Lamentations.Â
Our evening services will be held at Our Savior Lutheran Church weekly beginning February 25 at 6 pm. This service will start with dinner discussion in the Narthex before moving into the sanctuary for Holden Evening Prayer. Discussion will focus on "Conversations with Jesus."Â
Please sign up HERE to help with providing soups. We will need two soups each week, prepared in a crockpot. There is a preference for at least one soup to be broth based and dairy-free. Printed sign-ups will also be available.
All 6th-12th graders are invited to join us on Sunday, February 22 for a meaningful morning of service and fellowship. We'll gather in the church basement at 9:00 am to pack 100 bagged lunches for Lafayette Urban Ministry, helping support our neighbors in need. After we finish packing lunches, we'll enjoy some fellowship time together with bagels and juice before the church service begins.Â
We hope you can join us for this great opportunity to serve and connect!
Holy Trinity Lutheran Church (HTLC) will be hosting the Tippecanoe Chamber Music Society (TCMS) High School Showcase on Sunday, February 22, 2026 from 3-4:30 PM in the HTLC sanctuary. Join us on Sundays, at 9 A.M. in the Narthex on the first floor for The Wired Word. This weekly Bible study curriculum connects the Bible to current events, open to everyone, seventh grade and older.Â
We will look at an article about how people are using AI chatbots as sounding boards when they need to talk to someone. This will be an opportunity to consider the role of nonjudgmental listening in ministry.
Read the news related to this topic before attending this bible study to be prepared for an engaging conversation.
Do you have an event to add to the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Calendar?Â
Please fill out the HTLC event form so we have the necessary information to not only add it to the church calendar but also have the necessary details to highlight it in the ePistle, our website and social media if requested.Â
Thank you!
