CPR Training - October 27th

CPR Training will be conducted at 8:30 AM on October 27th. A Franciscan Community Health Specialist will lead this session at the church. Please use the sign-up sheet in the Narthex to register for this training.

Last Call for Easter Bulbs!

The Girl Scouts have been saving the bulbs donated after Easter and will be planting them in the church flower beds in early October. If you still have any bulbs that you want donated to this cause, please put them on the table across from the church office no later than September 30th. Contact McKenzie Temme with any questions. 

Join Us October 3rd for the Community Fair

The fifth annual Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Community Fair will be conducted Saturday, October 3 from 11 am to 1 pm. Many hands make light work - we could use some additional volunteers on Friday, October 2 from 6 to 7 pm for set up. Also, on Saturday, starting at 9 am to complete set up, assisting in the booths (especially games) from 11 to 1, and following the fair to help with tear down. There are sign-up sheets in the narthex if you can help. Thrivent members, don’t forget to apply for grants to support our Community Fair. Please invite your friends and neighbors to attend!

The Wired Word

Join us on Sundays, at 9 A.M. in the Narthex on the first floor for The Wired Word. This weekly Bible study curriculum connects the Bible to current events, open to everyone, seventh grade and older. 

Topic for Sunday, October 4th: Choose 'Bloomscrolling' for Better Health, Say Researchers

We will look at the cultural trend of "doomscrolling" and consumption of vast amounts of violent content through movies and television to consider how the things we watch shape us, for good or ill. 

Read the news related to this topic before attending this bible study to be prepared for an engaging conversation.
