Join Us for Maundy Thursday and Good Friday

We will be having evening services for Maundy Thursday (April 2nd) and Good Friday (April 3rd) during Holy Week. They will be at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church at 7 pm. These services will be streamed on YouTube and Facebook for those that would like to join virtually. 

Easter Breakfast and Egg Hunt

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church will be having an Easter Breakfast on Sunday, April 5th at 9 am. Pancakes and sausage will be provided, but we are asking for donations of other foods to serve. If you would like to donate an egg casserole, fruit, or juice for the breakfast, please Sign Up Here by Wednesday, April 1st. We will also be having an Easter Egg Hunt following our Easter service. We hope you can come and join us for fellowship!

No Christian Education This Sunday

There will be no Christian Education this Sunday as it is Easter Sunday. This includes Sunday School, The Wired Word, Intergenerational Bible Study, and the Virtual High School Bible Study.

For those who ordered Easter flowers, please remember to take them home after the Easter worship service this Sunday!

Sign Up to Be A Worship Assistant

As we approach the end of Lent, we will be putting together a schedule of worship assistants for the rest of April and May. If you would like to be a Reader, Communion Assistant, or Projectionist, please sign up at the SignUpGenius. There will also be a paper copy in the narthex. 

Observe How We Stream Our Service in April and May

The streaming team invites older youth (5th grade and up) and adult members to sign up to help with and/or observe how streaming Sunday worship service works. We ask those who have learned how to manage the audio to sign up for this task for Sundays they are available in April and May and if interested to sign up to observe and learn the streaming steps. We welcome others to observe the steps to manage the audio during worship. If you have questions, reach out to the streaming team: Bill Hillery or Kevin Hintzman. Please sign up HERE. 

Church Cleanup Day - May 2nd

Please put this day on your calendar to help the property committee tidy up our spaces inside and out. We hope to have tasks for people of all abilities. If there is anything specific you have noticed, please let us know so we can add it to the list. Contact the office by email (or call 765-447-4205) with any suggestions or to let us know you will be there. 

Save the Date! ELCA Youth Gathering June 28 - July 2, 2027

Next summer we will be looking to send a group of youth to the Gathering in Minneapolis. Every three years, thousands of high schoolers and their adult leaders from across the ELCA come together for the ELCA Youth Gathering. It's not just an event but a movement in which faith ignites and community comes alive.

Through inspiring speakers, experiential learning and transformative connections, young people experience the church in bold, unforgettable ways. Each night, participants share a unique faith experience through high-energy worship and powerful storytelling. The Gathering is an opportunity to ask big questions, grow in faith and be part of something bigger than yourself. Are you ready to join the movement?

Look for more information after Easter about an initial information meeting in May. Eligible youth are those that are currently in 7th - 11th grade. Contact Pastor if you are interested in attending or helping in the planning.

The Wired Word

Join us on Sundays, at 9 A.M. in the Narthex on the first floor for The Wired Word. This weekly Bible study curriculum connects the Bible to current events, open to everyone, seventh grade and older. 

Topic for Sunday, March 29: Surveys Suggest Attitudinal Shift Regarding Capitalism, Socialism

We will use recent surveys on how Americans view various economic systems to explore what our faith teaches about the purpose of government, wealth distribution, and property ownership.

Read the news related to this topic before attending this bible study to be prepared for an engaging conversation.
