Pastor Marc Cohen Accepts Call

Sunday, August 17th, during our congregational meeting, HTLC members voted to call Pastor Candidate Marc Cohen and Pastor Cohen has accepted the call. His start date will be Sunday, September 7th and he asks that we continue to pray for his family as they transition to a new ministry and church home. Pray for Holy Trinity’s openness and readiness to start doing the work that God has called us to do together.

Office hours will be determined sometime after September 7th . Help us welcome Pastor Cohen and his family! Thank you to the call committee, council, and finance committee for all your efforts to call a full-time Pastor.

The Wired Word

Join us on Sundays, at 9 A.M. in room 106 on the first floor for The Wired Word. This weekly Bible study curriculum connects the Bible to current events, open to everyone, seventh grade and older.

Topic for Sunday, September 14th: “Politically Opposed Professors Become Best Friends”

For our lesson we will look at the story of two politically opposed professors becoming best friends. The relationship between Robert George and Cornel West gives us an opportunity to discuss what it means to be truth-seekers, truth-speakers and people who show Christian unity in a time of division.

Read the news related to this topic before attending this bible study to be prepared for an engaging conversation.
